The Wagon Wheel Santee (Sept. 19, 2008):
"The Covertones came down to Mulvaney's Wagon Wheel on September 19, 2008 to play for a large group of regulars who enjoy putting the dance floor to good use. The band leader and drummer came down to the venue a couple weeks in advance to sit with me and go over sound, set lists, and other information. I was very impressed by their openness to suggestion and ambition to make the night a success.
The crowd at the Wheel can be hard to please, but the Covertones took extra care to make sure everyone was dancing and enjoying the evening. I really appreciated how the band announced the songs before they were played and how they frequently spoke directly to the crowd from the stage. They were able to form a relationship with the crowd easily that kept the bar full all night, and their song selection kept the dance floor full, as well.
This band has a lot of young talent who are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your music needs are met. Their extensive song list makes them a hit at any party, and their positive and upbeat personalities add to the fun!
This band is definitely coming back for another fun night!"

"For the 3 hours we had an amazing band called the Covertones. The are "a high energy interactive band, which covers a variety of pop, rock, dance, funk, disco, R&B, and reggae tunes." Wow, everyone loved them. They really made the wedding into a great party. They had lights, smoke machines, etc. Everyone was on the dance floor. They even did classic Jewish songs. They came all dressed up. Very professional, punctual, friendly, etc."
